SAS Expands International Hosting for SAS® Solutions OnDemand

Access, security and speed now ensured for global customers seeking local processing

To address these constraints, business analytics leader SAS is expanding localized hosting services to global customers using SAS^® Solutions OnDemand.

International customers can now access all the benefits of SAS either through enterprise hosting or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) as SAS rolls out additional local country hosting capabilities later this quarter.

SAS Solutions OnDemand has served customers for more than a dozen years. With thousands of customers in 72 countries, SAS hosted solutions span a variety of cross-industry and vertical industry applications, including marketing automation, social media analytics, anti-money laundering, drug development and others.

Customers benefit from rapid deployment and integration of SAS Analytics, delivering fast time to value. Additionally, offloading hardware and software acquisition saves time and resources on installation and maintenance. Access to analytics experts provides timely answers to the toughest analytics questions.

Until now, SAS Solutions OnDemand has primarily hosted applications at SAS global headquarters in Cary, NC, with additional facilities in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. With the evolution of cloud computing and SaaS, SAS’ worldwide customer base has grown more than 50 percent each of the past four years. Customers – particularly those in financial services or health care – increasingly require local country hosting of their sensitive data to address perceived risks related to privacy and security of such data.

By expanding hosting internationally, SAS Solutions OnDemand can offer local country hosting that meets the company’s high security and process standards. SAS will partner with local operations that match its security certifications (SOC2, SOC3 and Safe Harbor) and state-of-the-art processes. With the expansion, international SAS customers can now access SAS solutions and technology quickly and cost-effectively while meeting all local security requirements.
