SAN FRANCISCO--()--Capsilon, a provider of cloud-based document sharing, imaging and collaboration solutions for mortgage lenders, announced David Chen has joined its executive team as vice president of finance and administration where he is responsible for implementing the company’s financial processes to support recent growth.

Chen brings more than 20 years of experience in technology financial planning, budgeting, accounting, administration and management to Capsilon. Previously, Chen served as chief financial officer and vice president of finance and administration at a SaaS-based call center in Redwood City, Calif., where he led all financial and operational activities as well as implemented planning and budgeting processes. Prior to that, he held various sales and financial controller leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, including the company’s mergers and acquisitions finance controller; achieving accelerated revenue, company growth and forecasting accuracy.

Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and chemistry from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago.
