NEW YORK--()--ArchetypeMe, the new online destination redefining ‘personalized’ search and recommendations with original stories, socializing and shopping, curated for an individual’s personality, announced the appointment of Garrett Yankou as Creative Director. Garrett will report directly to the website’s Editor in Chief, Lisa Gabor.

As ArchetypeMe’s Creative Director, Garrett will oversee all creative aspects of the site’s design. As a web and magazine designer, Garrett has extensive publishing industry experience producing high-end celebrity, fashion, beauty and home/shelter material. For the past five years, he was focused on digital magazines, web branding projects and apps. Previously, he was the design director of InStyle magazine for over a decade.
ArchetypeMe also named Tom Lowe as Art Director. Tom will help establish and develop the visual aesthetic of the site. Tom has diverse design experience from metro daily newspapers to iPad magazines, and has worked for titles including InStyle, Vibe and US Weekly.
In addition, Corrie Vierregger joined as Photo Editor. Prior to this, Corrie was a photo editor for GQ.com. Her past experience also includes photo research and editing for People.com and Style.com.
