  CareMore staff and area residents will launch the facility with a ribbon cutting and refreshments. We expect 250-300 area seniors and Brooklyn residents to attend.
 

WHAT:

The grand opening for a CareMore Care Center – the centerpiece of a new concept in health coming to Brooklyn – will be held on Wednesday, October 17th, at 10:00 a.m. CareMore staff and area residents will launch the facility with a ribbon cutting and refreshments. Neptune Ave., area residents are invited to the open house and to tour the facility.

WHY:

The Care Center will cater to Medicare beneficiaries in Kings County and their caregivers, offering services such as podiatry, diabetic education and management, fall prevention, blood pressure monitoring and more. The center includes comfortable and safe exam tables, lightweight doors, and low-glare accessories. It also has a gym-like area with equipment devoted to strengthening exercises as well as classrooms for socializing and learning. The Care Center will be available exclusively to members of certain Empire Medicare Advantage plans.
