D.A. Davidson & Co. Adds Experienced Professional to Lead Origination for Equity Capital Markets Group

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--D.A. Davidson & Co., an employee-owned, full-service investment firm based in the Northwest, today announced that it has hired J. Brit Stephens to lead its equity capital markets origination and execution effort.

Stephens joins as managing director, with a focus on identifying prospective public equity issuers and marketing the firm’s qualifications and capabilities. He comes to Davidson with a proven track record in transaction execution and will play a key role in the continued growth of Davidson’s Equity Capital Markets Group based in Portland, Ore.

Stephens joins Davidson after serving as a managing director with Morgan Keegan and earlier with Wachovia Capital Markets. Previously he was with Raymond James. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from Vanderbilt University.
