TORONTO--()--Capital FM Arena Nottingham (UK) (“Capital FM Arena”) is now offering mobile ticketing for all of its events, from concerts and other live shows to Nottingham Panthers ice hockey and public skating. World-class mobile ticketing from AudienceView ensures Capital FM Arena customers have a seamless experience whether they make a purchase using any smartphone or desktop computer. Mobile is integrated as a core component of AudienceView’s ticketing and customer relationship management (CRM) solution, which was deployed by the Capital FM Arena in summer 2012.
“AudienceView’s mobile functionality makes it possible for our customers to purchase tickets while they are on the go. With a growing percentage of consumers accessing the web through mobile sites, it also gives us the best opportunity to maximize ticket sales and future-proof our business.”
“Our customers are already benefiting from the complete overhaul of our ticketing technology earlier this year, but we have now taken our AudienceView deployment one logical step further by activating its mobile ticketing functionality. This is critically important to the Capital FM Arena because our customer base is among the most connected and socially engaged across the arena network,” said Martin Ingham, Deputy Chief Executive, National Ice Centre and Capital FM Arena Nottingham. “AudienceView’s mobile functionality makes it possible for our customers to purchase tickets while they are on the go. With a growing percentage of consumers accessing the web through mobile sites, it also gives us the best opportunity to maximize ticket sales and future-proof our business.”
Mobile-optimized web ticketing is easy to deploy and maintain from any existing web site powered by AudienceView’s proprietary content management system (CMS). AudienceView mobile is flexible, fully integrated in the overall platform and based on mobile browser standards. This ensures live event organizations are always capturing changes in technology and new consumer mobile usage trends without the need to upgrade and maintain a variety of device-specific apps. Ticketing is tightly integrated between traditional, online and mobile box offices, so there is no need for organizations to monitor and post separate inventory blocks.
The AudienceView solution is powered by a single database, which gives the Capital FM Arena a 360-degree view of all customers from its 10,000-capacity entertainment venue and the National Ice Centre complex in which it is housed. The database’s ability to manage content across multiple mobile and/or traditional web sites allows the Capital FM Arena to consistently manage its various brands and promote individual events at its discretion.
“AudienceView is extremely proud of its industry-leading mobile ticketing functionality. The experience for consumers is intuitive, visually appealing and virtually the same as it is from a desktop environment, with no need to download an app or app upgrade. These are valuable differentiators for organizations like the Capital FM Arena that want to continue innovating and providing the very best customer experience, from ticket purchase through to the moment they leave the venue after enjoying a show,” said Mark Fowlie, President and COO for AudienceView. “We are pleased to be enabling the Capital FM Arena to extend its box office to a mobile-optimized web environment and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
