Disney Publishing Worldwide Announces Launch Details for Gates of Paradise, the Final Book in the New York Times Best-Selling Blue Bloods Series by Melissa de la Cruz

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Disney Publishing Worldwide (DPW) announced today the exciting plans in support of Gates of Paradise, the seventh and final book in the New York Times best-selling Blue Bloods series by Melissa de la Cruz. Gates of Paradise releases simultaneously as a hardcover with a 300,000 copy first printing and eBook on January 15, 2013. More than 3 million Blue Bloods books are currently in print in the US. The books have been translated into 14 languages.

The millions of fans of the Blue Bloods series will be able to show their true blue colors in a new campaign promoting Gates of Paradise. Beginning on October 16 thru November 13, fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite city in the US and Canada to win a spot on Melissa de la Cruz’s seven-city 2013 author tour at http://bit.ly/DLCAcross. The more votes a city gets, the bluer the area will become on the map. The final seven cities with the most votes will receive a tour appearance by Melissa de la Cruz, a traveling photo booth with a custom skyline backdrop of their city reminiscent of the Blue Bloods book covers, and special Blue Bloods promotional materials.
