NEW YORK & LONDON--()--Venda, the leading on-demand convergent commerce provider, today launched its indirect channel partner programme by announcing key partnerships with Next Commerce and Baobaz. This builds on its successful work with Capgemini within its immediate cloud orchestration framework. The programme will be initially rolled out in the United States, UK and Europe.
“The comprehensive documentation and production framework we have put in place has already paid dividends in highly successful implementations with our new partners. This enables them to offer retailers a high-performance, robust cloudbased eCommerce platform that meets the needs of this multichannel market.”
Venda’s cloud-based eCommerce platform is currently used by over a hundred retailers worldwide, including leading global brands Urban Outfitters, Tesco and TJX Group. The focus and investment into the new indirect channel partner programme will extend Venda’s reach to those retailers who prefer the support of an independent implementation company or a digital agency.
The Venda platform will unify and support retailers in the diversification of their digital offering. It will also help in the expansion of their eCommerce services across multiple markets.
Eric Abensur, group chief executive at Venda explained: "With the global eCommerce market expected to hit the one trillion euro mark1, retailers are looking towards their digital strategies for international expansion and growth.”
“However, the digital revolution is also encouraging consumer demand for a seamless experience when shopping online. They are thinking multichannel and increasingly expecting an integrated and seamless service from retailers across mobile, tablet, in-store and online channels.
“Recent wins in the US, UK and Europe, have reinforced our partner programme as a central tenant of our strategy for growth. With this transformation there is an opportunity for larger implementation partners to help our customers connect the diverse ecosystems associated with this multichannel retail environment.”
Damon Mannion, chief operating officer at Venda commented: "The comprehensive documentation and production framework we have put in place has already paid dividends in highly successful implementations with our new partners. This enables them to offer retailers a high-performance, robust cloudbased eCommerce platform that meets the needs of this multichannel market."
In Germany, Venda has appointed CouchCommerce GMBH as its key representative.
Alexander Ringsdorff, CEO at CouchCommerce's explained: “The German multichannel market is one of the most mature in Europe and is crying out for the comprehensive and scalable cloud-based platform that Venda offers. We are very excited about the Venda partnership programme and believe that it will very quickly become the front-runner in Germany.”
Venda has already signed a partnership with the leading German agency, Next Commerce, a division of SinnerSchrader Group.
In France, Venda and Baobaz - one of the largest digital agencies in Europe – have won a pan-European contract to provide eCommerce technology to DBApparel. DBApparel is a market leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of branded intimate apparel for women including iconic brands DIM, Playtex, Lovable, Nur Die, Abanderado and Wonderbra.
