Kenwood Gardens Condominiums Evicts Bats with Get Bats Out

Faced with multiple colonies of bats in several buildings, HOA reaches out to nation’s top bat removal company to safely, humanely and permanently remove unwanted tenants

DENVER--()--Get Bats Out (www.getbatsout.com), the nation’s best and leading bat removal company, today announced that the company has once again successfully removed several colonies of bats from a client site. This time the client was Kenwood Garden Condominiums, a high-end condominium complex, in the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland.

“350 to 400 bats is a significant colony and there are a lot of steps that need to be taken to ensure that the bats are not harmed and that the building is secured and cleaned to ensure they don’t come back and all health concerns are addressed”

“We had complaints of noise in the attics and when we had the noise checked out by our local pest control company they determined that the problem was bats,” said Paul Black, President of the Kenwood Garden Condominiums Home Owners Association (HOA). “After checking the Internet, I found different companies that claimed they got rid of bats, but the only one that I found that had a book you could download and learn about bats was Get Bats Out, and they offered a three (3) year warranty.”

With a total bat population of +/- 350 to 400 bats in six buildings, with twenty-four total attics, Get Bats Out was faced with a significant job to ensure that the squatters were able to safely leave the establishment once the sun went down but were not be able to return later that evening. Each attic was separated with firewall going up through the building and each attic had its own entrance.

“350 to 400 bats is a significant colony and there are a lot of steps that need to be taken to ensure that the bats are not harmed and that the building is secured and cleaned to ensure they don’t come back and all health concerns are addressed,” says Michael Koski, Founder and President of Get Bats Out. “I am very happy to say that Kenwood’s bat issue has been resolved and the tenants will no longer have to worry about the unwanted guests living upstairs.”

To ensure human and bat safety, as well as to ensure that the bats could not, and would not, return, Get Bats Out sealed every possible entrance on each building, including flashings, roof lines, eves and cracks. Experienced technicians also installed one-way doors so the bats could get out to feed at night but when they returned later would not be able to access their former home, thus forcing them to relocate.

Cathy Garner with the Harrison County School District in Gulfport, MS says, “We contacted Get Bats Out and Michael was very professional and his team was quickly onsite working to remedy our situation. Since they finished the job, we have not had a single recurrence. I would recommend Get Bats Out to anyone dealing with a bat issue.”

Black continued, “The company arrived onsite when they said they would and did their job. There were no excuses as why something could not get done and there were no additional charges. It was all done in a very timely manner and all the residents of the community felt that the company was doing a good job and the crew was friendly and easy to get along with. If for any reason I was ever involved another bat problem, I would not hesitate to contact Get Bats Out.”

Over the years, Get Bats Out has worked with universities, hospitals, industrial sites, big box retail chains, apartment complexes, public utility buildings, warehouses, libraries, hotels, lodges, complex log residences, private homes and more. The company’s bat removal expertise includes bat exclusion specialists, man lift operators, repelling expertise, safety personnel, hystoplasmosis remediation, guano clean-up and more.
