Guardian Life Adds 237 New Financial Representatives in Third Quarter, 683 Reps Hired So Far in 2012

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian), today announced that it recruited 237 new Financial Representatives in the third quarter of 2012, for a total of 683 hired so far this year. With the additional new hires, Guardian is well on its way to reach its stated goal of adding 840 new Financial Representatives this year. The Company also announced that it expects at least 28% of its new Financial Representative recruits in 2013 to be women.

Guardian has so far hired over 150 female Financial Representatives in 2012 and since 2009 has steadily grown its number of female Financial Representatives to 630.

The Company plans to grow this conference annually in New York City so that women have the opportunity to meet with their peers and learn from each other’s experiences.
