“LivingSocial’s Sales Academy demonstrates our commitment to building a best-in-class sales organization”
“LivingSocial’s Sales Academy demonstrates our commitment to building a best-in-class sales organization,” said Mandy Cole, SVP of Sales at LivingSocial. “People who take part in the Academy will receive comprehensive training on how to be successful in sales – from identifying and qualifying potential leads to communicating and negotiating with partners.”
Academy participants will receive customized coaching from seasoned sales leaders and learn the ins and outs of LivingSocial’s business to effectively manage sales leads. The program has three levels:
Junior associate: The introduction to the program will focus on learning the fundamentals of LivingSocial and the fundamentals of sales. Junior associates will learn how to set appointments for more senior sales people and develop a strong value proposition.
Associate: At the associate level participants will dive into the psychology of sales, and learn how to communicate value and build successful partnerships with small businesses.
Senior associate: During the final phase of the program participants will combine the skills learned in their previous roles and be responsible for identifying, vetting, and managing potential sales leads.
Academy participants will be evaluated on an ongoing basis ensuring they are fully prepared to become sales professionals at the end of the program and can deliver the best experience and results for the small businesses with which LivingSocial partners. Participants will move up within the Academy based off these evaluations and their performance. Program graduates will join LivingSocial’s sales organization as sales professionals, prepared to consult businesses on their online marketing needs.
