Artesian Resources Employees Participate for the 10th Consecutive Year In the Blood Bank of Delmarva’s Summer Blood Challenge

NEWARK, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Artesian employees rallied for their 10th consecutive year of participation in the Blood Bank of Delmarva’s Summer Blood Challenge, which helps provide a stable blood supply during the summer months. The Blood Bank of Delmarva provides blood and blood products to 16 hospitals on the Delmarva Peninsula. The challenge is a friendly competition held during the summer months among businesses and organizations in the Delmarva region to recruit the most blood donors and blood bank members.

Over the years, Artesian won first place in the small employer category for four consecutive years, while finishing in second place last year and this year. During this year’s challenge, Artesian sponsored two on-site blood drives for employees, their families and friends.
