Jeff Herman Joins Liberty International Underwriters as Senior Vice President of LIU Accident and Health

NEW YORK--()--Liberty International Underwriters, a part of the Global Specialty division of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has brought on Jeff Herman as Senior Vice President of LIU Accident and Health. LIU’s Accident and Health business will focus on Personal Accident products for businesses, not-for-profit groups and individual consumers and will also include relevant supplemental health products.

“Accident and Health is a major addition to LIU’s portfolio and the next step in our strategy of profitable growth. Recognized throughout the industry for his experience and leadership in Accident and Health, we’re excited that Jeff has agreed to develop and manage this new product line for LIU.”

Mr. Herman will head up a New York-based team to develop LIU’s Accident and Health product line, which is planned to launch first in the US and then expand to the global market. Mr. Herman has over 20 years’ experience in underwriting, marketing and sales of Accident and Health products in the U.S., Asia, Europe and South America. His diverse geographic background and experience with multiple channels of distribution will guide LIU’s development of an innovative Accident and Health product line.
