LOS ANGELES--()--Variety is pleased to announce that Eli Roth will take part in its Keynote Conversation at their Film Marketing Summit on Oct. 24 at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.
Roth is an accomplished director, producer, writer and actor, known for his unique creative vision for horror and genre films. Breaking onto the scene with the massive hit Cabin Fever, and followed by the successes of Hostel, Hostel Part II, and The Last Exorcism which he produced, Roth has firmly established his cinematic voice. He also appeared onscreen in Quentin Tarantino’s nominated Inglorious Basterds and his Death Proof segment of Grindhouse. Up next, Roth produced and co-wrote with director RZA the Nov. 2 Universal release The Man with the Iron Fists, starring RZA, Russell Crowe, and Lucy Liu.
Additionally, he is executive-producing the Netflix horror series, Hemlock Grove, and producing the films The Last Exorcism 2, Clown, and also co-wrote and starred in Aftershock. Dimension Films picked up Clown and Aftershock in one of the biggest sales out of the Toronto Film Festival this year, and Aftershock will have a wide theatrical release in 2013. He will next direct The Green Inferno.
This year, he also launched his own year-round horror experience in Las Vegas, Eli Roth’s Goretorium, further extending his brand of entertainment to fans.
Variety’s Film Marketing Summit, co-produced by Stradella Road, features an all-star lineup of speakers who will be analyzing and debating the current trends of this industry.
