Ideally suited for scalable, high performance deployment in enterprise core networks, service provider metro-core, data center and high performance computing connectivity, the AT-SBx8112 provides high availability, density and performance, combined with the lowest power consumption in its category, at less than 10W per 10G port.

The AT-SBx8112 is a new member of the Allied Telesis SwitchBlade product family and powered by the Company’s AlliedWare Plus™ operating system, which includes IPv4/IPv6, Virtual Chassis Stacking (VCStack™) and resilient transport Ethernet Protection Switching Ring (EPSRing™) features. It is the optimum Layer 3+ solution for core enterprise networks, service providers’ metro-core, data center and high performance computing connectivity. Furthermore, the SwitchBlade x8112 includes separate data and control planes for future deployments in Software Defined Networks (SDN) and cloud networking environments.
