John Mason Earns Financial Planning Credentials from Certified Financial Board of Standards, Inc.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JOHN MASON, CFP®, Investment Advisor Representative at Mason & Associates, LLC, in Newport News, Virginia, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use the certification marks CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements.

These marks identify those individuals who have met the two year experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework, and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination. CFP® certificants also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
