Analogix Introduces SlimPort Mobile Device to Display Accessories

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Analogix Semiconductor, the market leader in enabling DisplayPort™ products, announced it has entered the accessory market. The new line of SlimPort® accessories feature a microUSB adapter that connects SlimPort or MyDP (Mobility DisplayPort) enabled mobile phones and tablets to any HD projector, TV, computer or monitor for multi-display productivity and big screen entertainment.

Coming to market in the next couple of months, tablets and smartphones featuring SlimPort capabilities will be equipped to display true full HD (1080p at 60Hz) media on any screen, even in 3D, all while preserving battery life. Analogix is releasing a total of four supporting microUSB cables and adapters with connectivity through most popular display standards - HDMI, VGA, DVI and DisplayPort.
