Crain’s BtoB and IDG Announce Annual Social Marketing Awards Program

NEW YORK & FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BtoB and IDG Communications--two media companies serving marketers, agencies, technology companies, and consumers—are seeking nominations for superior social media marketing and mobile programs. Entries from marketers and agencies are due by Friday, November 30 at http://bit.ly/UIm2Y8. IDG is the premier sponsor for the fourth consecutive year.

Finalists will be chosen for Best Use of Facebook, Best Use of Twitter, Best Use of LinkedIn, Best Use of Pinterest, Best Use of Viral Video, Best Use of Mobile, Best Corporate Blog, Best Closed Community, and Best Integrated Campaign (across more than one social channel) for tech and non-tech companies.

BtoB editors will select a winner and runner-up for each category that will be revealed online and in the April issue of BtoB. The editors will also choose their favorite entries for People’s Choice awards where online voters will select a top tech and non-tech campaign.

All winners, runners-up, and People’s Choice selections will be honored at a San Francisco awards luncheon in March 2013 during the Digital Edge conference.

2013 BtoB Social Marketing Awards Rules

A BtoB marketer or agency can submit a campaign that began February 2012 or later, with the exception of the Blog and Closed Community categories that must have had posts February 2012 or later but the blog or community may have debuted earlier. BtoB editors will choose the finalists and category winners. The two grand prize honorees in tech and non-tech will be selected by the People’s Choice online voting.
