Salem brings more than two decades of experience in using advanced technologies to solve clients’ business needs. For the past 15 years, he has focused on helping Fortune 100 corporations and AmLaw 200 law firms streamline and optimize eDiscovery. His previous positions have included vice president of professional services for Encore Discovery Solutions, vice president of technology and operations at Esquire Litigation Solutions and engineering manager at Merrill Corporation.

Salem’s eDiscovery background dates to the earliest stages of the industry and he brings to the position robust experience and acumen in a variety of tools and methodologies for streamlining eDiscovery. This includes expertise in industry-leading tools for technology-assisted review, enhanced linear review, email threading and advanced culling techniques, which are components of the company’s full spectrum of review acceleration offerings. He is a veteran of service organizations within the industry, like RenewData, which generally have different characteristics and operational demands than pure software providers.
Salem holds an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the International Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University. He has presented internationally on topics ranging from eDiscovery best practices, discovery issues in ITC investigations, corporate discovery optimization and FERPA.
