The new Kno for Windows 8 app takes advantage of the new Windows 8 features such as Charms, which are a set of shortcuts to common tasks that are available anywhere within the system.
- Charms allow students to multi-task and jump between applications, the Internet and files.
- The Search Charm allows seamless searching to find what they are looking for more easily wherever that information may be.
