LAS VEGAS--(SYSPRO, a developer of best-of-breed, award-winning enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for on-premise and cloud-based utilization, is using the company’s appearance at the Las Vegas SEMA / AAPEX Show in Booth 32008 to explain the numerous ways SYSPRO ERP enables automotive suppliers to lean their operations. Existing SYSPRO customers include an array of both pre-and post-market automotive industry suppliers including: Dynojet Research, Inc.)--
“SYSPRO is the center of our universe. When it goes into SYSPRO, it drives everything else.”
Las Vegas-based Dynojet Research, Inc., is the world leader in the development and manufacture of performance enhancement products and tools that help vehicle owners tune and optimize the performances of their two and four wheel drive vehicles. The company’s primary products are Dynamometers and Power Commanders. While Dynojet’s primary manufacturing facility is located in Montana, finished processing of the company’s power sport products is accomplished in the company’s Las Vegas facility.
Dynojet has been a SYSPRO user since l996. A company spokesperson says that much of the company’s growth is traceable to SYSPRO software. The scalability of the software, he says, has enabled the software to keep pace with the growth of Dynojet. Moreover, the software has allowed Dynojet to provide superior levels of technical support without having to grow the support department. CRM and the Return Materials Authorization (RMA) module have helped Dynojet to organize and maintain customer records, and, in turn, provide better feedback to the customer. Through the issuance of CRM service tickets, the company has a firm grasp of what products are returned for servicing and why. The RMA module provides additional data on why products have been returned for servicing. This ability to trace defects has been a key factor is keeping the product return ratio low.
Dynojet also worked with its local SYSPRO reseller to create an interface using SYSPRO e.net solutions that enables purchasers to register and activate their warranties on line with all the data automatically inputted directly in the SYSPRO database. This process has significantly reduced the manpower once necessary to register manually the 8,000 to 10,000 Power Commanders sold each month.
According to Dynojet spokesperson, “SYSPRO is the center of our universe. When it goes into SYSPRO, it drives everything else.”
SYSPRO has earned the trust of more than 14,500 companies in 60 countries for its suite of visionary software that enhances the competitive thrust of small/mid-sized manufacturers and distributors. The company’s adherence to developing technology based on the needs of customers is among the reasons why SYSPRO enjoys one of the highest customer retention rates in the industry.
