Gift cards remain consumers’ number one requested gift, according to Deloitte’s 2012 Annual Holiday Survey. Although the total number of presents consumers intend to purchase has declined in recent years, half of consumers will purchase gift cards, spending an average of $132. Archway has already shipped half a billion gift cards so far this year, and expects to ship an additional 200 million this holiday season.
