Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Wins First Place in Healthiest Employers Awards

MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s efforts to promote health and wellness in its workplaces earned the company first place in the Large Category of the Business Journal’s 2012 Healthiest Employers Awards.

Businesses competing in the Healthiest Employers Awards were divided into three categories based on the size of their employee population. Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s “Healthiest Employer Index” of 92.1 was the highest score of any winner across all three award categories (Small, Medium and Large).
