Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group Encourages Its Group Companies to Make Charitable Donations to Assist Victims of Hurricane Sandy

TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group wishes to expresses its deepest sympathy for people who were affected by Hurricane Sandy along the East Coast. To provide assistance to those who were impacted, and to contribute to the recovery of affected areas, five firms in the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group family will together make a charitable donation totaling $500,000 (USD). We express our deepest condolences and hope for the earliest possible recovery. The majority of the contribution will go to the American Red Cross.
