MASHANTUCKET, Conn.--()--October 2012 slot revenues at Foxwoods Resort Casino® were $42.9 million, a decline of $7.9 million or 15.6 percent from the same month last year. Handle for the month was $519.6 million, a drop of $77.2 million or 12.9 percent from October 2011. In addition to continued market factors, Super Storm Sandy adversely impacted the results as regional gaming patrons coped with the weather disaster.
The Resort contributed $11.1 million to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund in October 2012, bringing the cumulative contribution to the state of Connecticut since the Foxwoods opened in 1992 to $3.42 billion.

Sponsored by the Pepsi Bottling Group, the exhibit includes family-friendly activities and a new film featuring interviews with six local Native doll makers.
