Patterson Companies CEO Scott P. Anderson Elected Chairman of Dental Trade Alliance

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Patterson Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: PDCO) today announced that Scott P. Anderson, its president and chief executive officer, has been elected chairman of the board of the Dental Trade Alliance (DTA), an association of companies that provide dental equipment, supplies, materials and services to dentists and other oral care professionals.

DTA, the voice of the dental industry, has also become a leader in the dental community, paving the way for the formation of a coalition of 37 dental organizations called The Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives. Anderson was first elected to the DTA board in 2006 as a director-at-large. He became an officer in 2009 and was elected second vice chairman. Anderson serves on the DTA’s executive committee and has chaired its strategic planning committee.
