Regal Entertainment Group Welcomes Great Escape Moviegoers with Free Popcorn

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE: RGC), a leading motion picture exhibitor owning and operating the largest theatre circuit in the United States, is offering patrons of the newly acquired Great Escape Theatres all of the benefits exclusively available to Regal moviegoers. Regal Entertainment Group’s acquisition of Great Escape was announced earlier today. Members of the Great Escape Loyalty Program, Critics Choice, can now upgrade to the Regal Crown Club. Regal will offer a free small popcorn immediately to members of the Critics Choice Card Program when they exchange their existing loyalty card for a new Regal Crown Club card.

Moviegoers can visit any Great Escape location through January 31, 2013 to immediately be rewarded with a free small popcorn for switching to the Regal Crown Club. Along with the free popcorn offer, new members will also receive 10 extra credits when they activate their card online.

Additional benefits of Regal Crown Club include concession specials on Mondays and Tuesday. Members can purchase the featured candy for only $2 on Mondays with paid admission. And when members purchase a ticket on Tuesdays, they receive a coupon good for $2 popcorn.

Through the Regal Crown Club patrons accumulate credits at the box office and concession stand to earn free popcorn, soft drinks and movies. Free membership is available at all theatres or online at www.regmovies.com/Crown-Club.
