Dennis R. Sugino joins Aristotle Capital Management, LLC

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aristotle Capital Management, LLC (“Aristotle”), a value equity investment manager for institutional and high net worth clients, today announced the hiring of Dennis R. Sugino as managing director.

Dennis will be a member of the firm’s executive leadership team. He will provide insight and recommendations across the entire infrastructure of the organization. He will also utilize his extensive experience with institutional investors and investment consulting organizations to further enhance the firm’s investor relations and business opportunities.

Prior to Aristotle, Dennis was a co-founder and president of Cliffwater LLC, an investment consulting firm specializing in alternative investments for institutional clients from 2004 to 2012. The company assisted clients globally in their allocations to hedge funds, private equity, and real assets. The company was engaged in sourcing and gaining access to top-tier funds, conducting due diligence, and providing ongoing risk management and monitoring of client portfolios. From 1992 to 2004, Dennis was a managing director and principal of Wilshire Associates where he directed a team focused on complex investment consulting relationships with institutional clients. From 1986 to 1992, Dennis was the chief investment officer of the multi-billion dollar Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension Systems.

Dennis is a member of the CFA Institute. He holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Management from California State University, Dominguez Hills and a M.A. in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles.
