PASADENA, Calif.--()--Tournament of Roses Parade fans can buy “the best seats in the house” without camping out for days on the parade route in hopes of nabbing a great parade-watching spot. Reserved grandstand seats for prime parade viewing are available through Sharp Seating, the Official Seating Company of the Tournament of Roses Parade for more than 85 years.

The 124th Tournament of Roses Parade, themed “Oh the Places You’ll Go” will roll through the streets of Pasadena on Tues., Jan. 1, 2013. The immensely popular event attracts 40+ million TV viewers and more than a million visitors from around the world to Pasadena annually.
Parade fans wishing to secure reserved grandstand seats are urged to place their ticket orders now for the best selections. Prices range from $45-$90 per seat, depending on location, plus $30 for a parking permit. There are also tickets for overnight parking of recreational vehicles available for $250.

Sharp Seating also provides tickets for a variety of pre- and post-parade events. Fans can purchase tickets for close-up previews of the Rose Parade’s legendary floats while the finishing touches are being applied at three different Pasadena locations on Dec. 29, 30 and 31, 2012. After the parade, on Jan. 1 and Jan 2, 2013, tickets are available for the public to step up close and see for themselves the majestic beauty and splendor of the floral floats. Tickets are $10.00 for pre-and post-parade events.
Another crowd-pleaser, BandFest, will feature bands from around the world showcasing their musical and marching talents with performances in Pasadena City College’s new stadium Dec. 29, 2012, 2:00-4:30 p.m.; and two shows Dec. 30, 2012 – 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 – 4:30 p.m.
At EquestFest — happening Dec. 29, 2012, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., at the Los Angeles Equestrian center — horse-lovers can stroll through the Rose Parade stable area, meet many of the equestrians they will see on the parade route Jan. 1, and take photos with their beautiful horses. Visitors will also enjoy riding demonstrations and equestrian drills, as well as ongoing exhibits, musical performances and great food.
BandFest and EquestFest general admission tickets are $15.00. EquestFest is offering for the first time VIP Package including assigned seating, seat cushion, goody bag and a private entrance – a great value at $35 per ticket.
