TORONTO--()--The stage is set for AudienceView’s fourth annual AVConnect user conference, which has been expanded to a three-day, client-centric event that takes place February 26 to 28, 2013. Attendees will road trip to the Hilton San Diego Resort and Spa, nestled on the sands of Mission Bay just minutes from the Gaslamp District, for a memorable experience where they will learn, network and feel the excitement that San Diego has to offer during the cold winter months.
“I always leave AVConnect events jazzed because I am able to share a wealth of new ideas and client success stories with my staff. In turn, they are both excited and motivated to explore more functionality within AudienceView to drive their department's goals”
“The annual attendance at AVConnect has grown substantially in recent years and we are proud and excited to welcome AudienceView users from around the world,” said Mark Fowlie, President and Chief Operating Officer for AudienceView. “We’ve had rave reviews of past conferences and workshops, feedback is for a resounding ‘more!’, and attendees have asked us to extend AVConnect over multiple days to allow more time for each session. The new three-day format is our way of meeting that demand, providing more time for experts to broaden our user’s horizons, ensuring everyone is inspired to put their newfound knowledge into action.”
Managers, executives, ticketing professionals, marketers, fundraisers and system administrators will join together in San Diego to gain insight about best practices and emerging industry trends, including social media, mobile-optimized ticketing and “line-busting” tablet technology. Presentations will include industry-centric and relevant case studies from fellow AudienceView users, engaging roundtable discussions, and education sessions led by in-the-trenches experts and thought leaders. Attendees will also have the opportunity to share their ideas and influence AudienceView’s product roadmap.
Also new in 2013, AudienceView has added the AVConnect Academy, a full day of hands-on, in-class training opening the first day of the conference. The concept was beta tested with a large, enthusiastic group of AudienceView client participants in Toronto this past July and will be expanded in 2013. The inaugural AVConnect Academy takes place on February 26, 2013. Details and registration are available at AudienceView.com/AVConnect.
“There is something for everyone at AVConnect. Professionals in ticketing, marketing, fundraising, finance, IT and venue management will leave our conference equally inspired. Attendees will also have an enormous amount of fun while learning and networking with their peers and AudienceView staff,” added Mr. Fowlie. “Our goal is to provide increased knowledge and new ideas that bring immediate advantages to our client organizations in terms of customer management, revenue generation and operations.”
