PORTLAND, Ore.--()--ESCO Corporation announced today that it has acquired Brazier Mine Construction in a strategic asset purchase that significantly increases ESCO’s on- and near-site service offering in the Powder River Basin. The acquisition includes the company’s field service equipment fleet and four fabrication and service locations.

Based near the center of the Powder River Basin, just outside of Gillette in Wright, Wyoming, Brazier provides high-quality repair, maintenance and rebuild services to large regional mining customers’ dragline, face shovel and mining loader buckets and haul truck bodies.

Brazier Mine Construction and its approximately 60 employees have joined ESCO’s Engineered Products Group. Doing business as ESCO Wright, the site will build on its current repair and maintenance services with increased ESCO product and service offerings. Other ESCO locations in Wyoming include supply and service operations in Gillette, Rock Springs and Casper.
