Stewart Vacation Ownership Appoints Kevin Thomas as Underwriting Counsel

Thomas to handle underwriting for all timeshare transactions

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stewart Title Company's timeshare industry subsidiaries, InterCity Capital Corporation and InterCity Escrow Services, together known as Stewart Vacation Ownership, are pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Thomas as underwriting counsel for all timeshare transactions, in addition to his responsibilities as vice president and Florida underwriting counsel.

Thomas brings more than 27 years of title industry experience to the position. He most recently served as vice president and Florida underwriting counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Prior to joining Stewart, he spent seven years as senior vice president, general counsel and director of Alliance Title of America, a Florida title insurer owned primarily by title agents, until its acquisition by Stewart.

Thomas received his Bachelor of Arts degree in foreign service and international politics from Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore. He is a member of the Florida Bar and has lectured extensively on title insurance and real property matters.
