Asthma Sufferers and Their Caregivers Are Asked to Help Design a Medical Device That Will Predict an Asthma Attack

One-third of sufferers are at risk of a potentially fatal asthma attack

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A market research firm, Consilium Associates, is conducting an online survey on behalf of a medical technology company that is developing a medical device that will predict when someone with asthma will have an attack. The medical technology company is encouraging input from asthma sufferers and their caregivers before the company freezes its device design.

According to new research by Asthma UK, over a third of asthma sufferers are at risk of a potentially fatal attack.
