IRVINE, Calif.--()--A market research firm, Consilium Associates, is conducting an online survey on behalf of a medical technology company that is developing a medical device that will predict when someone with asthma will have an attack. The medical technology company is encouraging input from asthma sufferers and their caregivers before the company freezes its device design.
“We will make a donation to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation or the American Lung Foundation for every person with asthma or parent of a child with asthma who completes the survey.”
According to new research by Asthma UK, over a third of asthma sufferers are at risk of a potentially fatal attack.
“If you have asthma or have a child with asthma and would like to help in designing a medical device that can predict an asthma attack, please go to www.asthmamonitor.org and complete a short survey,” said Richard Harbaugh of Consilium Associates. “We will make a donation to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation or the American Lung Foundation for every person with asthma or parent of a child with asthma who completes the survey.”
