LAS VEGAS--()--Polaroid is celebrating 75 years of exciting, fun and innovative products at booth #13613 at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show in the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Polaroid booth will celebrate the iconic rich 75 year history of the brand with several new product announcements, a full line up of product demonstrations, social experiences and artistic installations for all CES attendees.

Innovative Product Announcements
Polaroid will debut a wide range of consumer electronics at CES 2013. Highlighting the show will be additions to the company’s robust line of digital still cameras and camcorders including the Polaroid iM1836, the world’s first Android powered interchangeable lens camera. Polaroid will also showcase the Kids Tablet, the newest addition to the brand’s tablet line. Staying true to the brand’s legacy, Polaroid is bringing the magic of instant into the digital age by highlighting the recently launched Polaroid Z2300 instant digital camera.
Experience Polaroid Fotobar
At the show guests will be able to experience Polaroid Fotobar, a brand new service that allows users to turn their favorite photos currently trapped in their phones, into museum quality art to display in their homes or offices. Visitors to the booth can upload images captured on their smart phones or favorite social networks to a secure Fotomail email address that can be set up at www.polaroidfotobar.com. After the show, participants will receive a complimentary poster of their image shipped directly to their home. Polaroid Fotobar will also be previewing its new experiential Polaroid Fotobar stores that will open in select cities in 2013. Polaroid Fotobar stores will be the first of their kind retail destinations designed to capitalize on the meteoric rise in people taking pictures. These cool, hip, experiential stores will make the process of turning peoples’ best pictures into cherished pieces of art both rewarding and fun. Demonstrations of the Polaroid Fotobar service will also be provided daily by Warren Struhl, founder and CEO of Fotobar, LLC.
75 Years Young Showcase
Polaroid will also feature a “living exhibition” display in the booth highlighting the continuity of innovation throughout the brand’s rich history. On display will be classic Polaroid products and images such as the Land Camera along with the latest Polaroid innovations like the Polaroid Z2300 and the iM1836. On Wednesday at 11:30am and 2pm, Maripol, a famed Polaroid artist, photographer and fashion designer, will present her experience with Polaroid over the years. Autographed instant photos will be taken and gifted by Maripol at the Polaroid instant photo booth after each presentation.
Jim McHugh, a storied Polaroid photographer, will be presenting on Thursday at 11:30am and 2pm on his experience with Polaroid over the years culminating in his most recent work with the Polaroid Z2300 and Polaroid Z340 instant digital cameras. Autographed instant photos will be taken and gifted by Jim at the Polaroid instant photo booth after each presentation.
