Nastel Technologies Hires Industry Veteran Darren Riley as Director of EMEA Operations

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nastel Technologies, a premier global provider of application performance monitoring solutions for mission-critical applications from the datacenter to the cloud, today announced the hiring of IT industry veteran Darren Riley to the position of EMEA Director. Riley has more than 25 years of experience in sales, channel development and strategic leadership.

Riley, working out of the company’s London office, will oversee Nastel’s business strategy, operations and sales efforts in Europe and the Middle East. He will report to David Mavashev, founder and CEO of Nastel Technologies.

Riley joins Nastel from document management and business process outsourcing company BancTec, where he served four years as sales manager for the EMEA Growth Markets. Riley also had worked several years at Nastel in the mid-2000s as a sales director in the EMEA region. Prior to joining Nastel in 2005, Riley held a variety of posts at companies such as Akonix Systems, MQSoftware, Boole & Babbage and BMC Software, overseeing sales, product marketing, channel development and engineering efforts.
