More than four thousand agents strong, the firm closed approximately 23,000 units, with $4.9 billion in sales volume in 2012. The firm has been named to the INC. 500 list of fastest-growing companies for four consecutive years.
New Offices Signal a Commitment to Agents
As more firms downsize and expect agents to do more with less, Realty ONE Group again confirms its unconventional leadership by continuing to open sumptuous offices in prestigious locations.
CEO and founder Kuba Jewgieniew cites Realty ONE Group’s decision to open high-end offices as one of its distinguishing features. “While other firms are retreating from the ‘extras,’ we believe in offering physical offices to allow our agents to meet with their clients in comfort and privacy.”
Among the new offices, which covered all three of its key territories, were Green Valley, Nev., in February; Gilbert, Ariz., in April; the new Las Vegas Southwest office in Sept., and in October, a new office in Anaheim, Calif., along with Realty ONE Group's new Corporate Office in the Irvine Spectrum in Orange County, Calif.
New Executives Signal Strong Leadership from the Top
Realty ONE Group expanded its leadership depth with significant hires for new positions, continuing its transformation from regional leader to dominant national player. Matt Emerson joined as Chief Operating Officer with nearly 20 years of real estate experience in southern California and Cosmin Dumitrescu as Chief Technology Officer with more than 15 years of experience in IT leadership roles.
Sharing the Wealth
Aside from organic growth through company offices, in 2012 Realty ONE Group focused on expanding its footprint by developing franchise agreements with select business-minded partners.
It launched its franchise division under the leadership of Orange County real estate veteran Rick Hudson, who has more than 20 years of sales experience. In September, its first franchise, Realty ONE Group – Southwest, opened in Temecula, Calif., with two experienced veterans, Barbara Baker and Clarke Van Deventer.
“We offer a non-conventional franchise partner agreement that is as opposite from today’s outdated industry norms as our compensation and other systems are,” said Jewgieniew.

A Commitment to the Community

This year, notable efforts included a charity golf tournament hosted by the Arizona team that raised more than $10,000 for The 100 Club of Arizona and a Toys for Tots campaign across all three states that collected thousands of toys this holiday season.

Key emphases for 2013 include signing new franchises. Interest has been high, and Realty ONE Group already has several commitments it will announce in January. The company expects to board 25 franchises throughout the upcoming year.
