Paul Runge Joins Analytic Investors LLC

Firm Continues To Expand Business Development Team Following Completion of Management-Led Buyback

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Analytic Investors LLC, a leader in quantitative investment solutions for institutional investors, today announced that Paul Runge, an asset management executive with more than 30 years of experience, has been named a Director of Business Development.

Runge will work with institutional investors in the United States, with an emphasis on public pension plans.

Runge is the second senior business development executive to join the firm in two months. In November, George Mathews, an asset management executive with 17 years of experience, was named Head of Business Development. The two senior appointments follow the firm’s successful management buyout, which closed on December 31, 2012.

Prior to joining the firm, Runge worked at GE Asset Management, where he was responsible for institutional sales and key client relationships for public, corporate, endowments and foundation plans in the western U.S. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Mercer Investment Consulting, Provident Investment Counsel and BNP/Paribas. Runge earned an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Maine and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Thiel College. He also completed the AIMSE/Wharton Business School Asset Management Program.
