“Each event helps couples focus, connect and rediscover each other with marriage-changing principles that, when applied to daily life, strengthens relationships”
“Each event helps couples focus, connect and rediscover each other with marriage-changing principles that, when applied to daily life, strengthens relationships,” said Dennis Rainey, FamilyLife President and Founder. “In a time where economic pressures are rising and divorce is rampant, we strive to give couples hope and the tools for success in their marriage.”
The Spring 2013 schedule runs February through June and visits 70 cities, including Hershey, Pa., Virginia Beach and Reston, Va., Cincinnati, Ohio, Tulsa, Okla., Austin, Dallas and Sugar Land, Texas, Irvine, Calif., Oak Brook, Ill., Indianapolis, Ind., Little Rock, Ark., Saint Augustine, Fla., Concord, N.C., and Franklin, Tenn.
Couples in all stages of marriage or engagement will receive building blocks for strengthening and maintaining an intimate, healthy relationship through private, personal time with your spouse, dynamic speakers who share stories of rebuilding via their own breakthroughs and blunders, and one-on-one breakout sessions.
The Weekend to Remember event is not a large counseling session and couples are not asked to participate in small groups. Couples will learn to:
- Resolve conflict in the relationship and express forgiveness
- Maintain a vital sexual connection
- Increase commitment, creating a deeper level of intimacy
