NEW YORK--()--Tinypass, an e-commerce solution for digital content, announced today it has named digital advertising executive and entrepreneur Trevor Kaufman as president and CEO. Kaufman had previously participated with other angels in the company’s $1.25 million seed financing round.

Most recently, Kaufman served as CEO of digital ad firm POSSIBLE, where he led global strategy and guided future innovation efforts for the agency’s 1,200 person worldwide staff. Prior to POSSIBLE, Kaufman served as founder and CEO of Schematic, building the company from an initial staff of three to over 350. Schematic was acquired by WPP Group in 2007. In 2011, at WPP’s request, Kaufman merged Schematic with three other WPP agencies, then acquired three additional firms, to create the global POSSIBLE digital network, which he led as CEO.

On January 2nd, famed blogger Andrew Sullivan announced he would be launching a new, subscription-only site powered by Tinypass. In less than a month, the new site has sold over $500,000 in subscriptions using the Tinypass platform. Since then, over 400 publishers have registered for the service.
