Wonderland Bakery Creates 2013 Presidential Inaugural Gala Cookie

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wonderland Bakery, a specialty bakery and thematic destination founded by Allyson Ames (www.WonderlandBakery.com), has created the 2013 Presidential Inaugural Gala cookie.

Obama was smitten with Wonderland Bakery cookies when a celebrity client sent him a batch of gingerbread and sugar cookies during the holidays in 2008. Since then the bakery has created and shipped thousands of cookies to the White House, including cookies for the 2009 Presidential Inauguration Gala, Presidential Arts and Humanities Committee and Victory Celebrations.

Embellished with the 2013 Presidential Inaugural artwork, each sugar cookie is hand-cut and frosted with French vanilla icing, created with state-of-the-art edible technology and individually wrapped with a Presidential blue ribbon.
