EO Is Now Accepting Applications from Students for Entrepreneur Competition

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Austin, a global network of entrepreneurs, today announced it is now accepting applications for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA), the premier competition for students that have started a business while attending high school or a university. Selected applicants will compete against their peers by presenting their businesses to a panel of judges during the EO Round-Up Regional Conference being held in San Antonio on April 4, 2013.

The GSEA competition in San Antonio gives participating students from Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma a chance to win their shot at competing against the best student entrepreneurs in the world at the 2013 GSEA Global Finals where the winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize. Top rated competitors at the Global Finals are also awarded more than $150,000 in business products and services including Web services, printing, PR, consulting and more.

GSEA offers students the chance to expand their networks by meeting student entrepreneurs from various states and worldwide at the national competition. By competing with other business owners and presenting to a panel of judges, students will expand their business pitch skills and improve how they communicate their business value proposition. Participating students will also receive media coverage for themselves and their business.
