BOSTON--()--TraceOne today announced it has been included in Gartner’s December 2012 report ‘A Guide to PLM Providers for Formulated Packaged Goods Industries.’ This research examines seven product lifecycle management (PLM) software vendors perceived as the most prominent among manufacturers of formulated products with sufficient presence, capabilities, and viability based on vertical experience, expertise, and software functionality.

Gartner assessed PLM vendor capabilities across six industries: packaged food and beverages; consumer chemicals; industrial and specialty chemicals; personal care; flavors and fragrance; and pharmaceuticals. TraceOne received a “strongly validated” rating in the packaged food and beverages category. TraceOne also received “somewhat strong” ratings in consumer chemicals and personal care. All three of these industries are considered high growth for private label products. In the report, Gartner noted one of TraceOne’s strengths to be its experience and expertise in working with retailers and trading partners.
