Michael Battey and Hannah Sullivan Create New Independent Advisory Firm in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Emerald Bay Wealth Management, a wealth management business launched in 2011 by two long-time investment professionals, today announced it has hired Sanctuary Wealth Services to support its business.

Emerald Bay Wealth Management specializes in wealth management for multi-generational families. The firm was created to ensure that all relevant family members are included in the wealth management process.

Sanctuary will support Emerald Bay with investment research and analysis, consolidated client reporting and performance analytics, as well as strategic operational support. Emerald Bay is the seventh team to join the Sanctuary network.

Trained as an analyst, Battey has decades of fiduciary experience as a business development professional, a client account manager and as a fiduciary strategist. He has opened, turned around and run offices for Bessemer Trust, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Atlantic Trust.

Sullivan trained as an equity analyst and worked at Robertson Stephens & Co. as a lead portfolio manager. She also was a principal at a private equity fund, a partner of Fremont Ventures, and has taught at the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley. She recently sold her successful company to co-found Emerald Bay.
