Ms. Feeney received the award for her contributions to the advancement of women in the legal profession. Nominees for other awards include Hon. Nia Gill, Esq., Senator; Hon. Joseph Cryan, NJ Assemblyman; Hon. Chris Daggett, President & Chief Executive Officer, Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation; Saki Dodelson, Founder, Achieve3000; and the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College.

Ms. Feeney was installed as the 113th President of the New Jersey State Bar Association in May 2011; she was the seventh woman to assume the role. Goals she addressed during her presidency include establishing a task force to examine strategies for expanding pro bono service and expanding leadership opportunities in the legal profession for people of diverse backgrounds. She also serves as Treasurer of Volunteer Lawyers for Justice and as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
Her practice focuses on state taxation and local property taxation for all types of industries. Her practice includes redevelopment law and condemnation. She is a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Tax Court, and she is currently a member of the State and Local Tax Committee of the ABA Tax Section. She was appointed to the Sales and Use Tax Review Commission of the State of New Jersey and is a member of the NJ Division of Taxation Tax Director's Advisory Council.
Ms. Feeney is recognized as one of the “Top 50 Women” by New Jersey Super Lawyers for 2006, 2008 and 2012 as well as a New Jersey Super Lawyer for 2007-2012. She is listed in the 2007-2013 issues of The Best Lawyers in America and has been named the Best Lawyers “2013 Tax Lawyer of the Year” for Newark Litigation & Controversy. Ms. Feeney was also recognized as one of New Jersey's “Best 50 Women in Business” by NJBIZ in 2009.
A summa cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University, she earned her law degree from Fordham University School of Law.
