COLUMBUS, Ohio--()--Residential Finance Corporation, a nationwide mortgage lender, has tapped Brenda Jarvis to be assistant vice president of branch development. In this role, Jarvis is responsible for branch and business development within Residential Finance’s retail branching channel. She works with new and existing retail branches to launch smoothly and then grow their businesses.

Located in the company’s Charlotte, N.C. office, Jarvis travels to all new Residential Finance retail branches to provide concierge-level support, from onboarding to opening and beyond.

Previously, Jarvis served as Director of Lender and Vendor Relations for 1st Metropolitan Mortgage, in executive roles at Freedom Mortgage, Vision Mortgage Capital, AmeriPro Processing and Freedom Mortgage, and in management positions at Freedom Mortgage, Vision Mortgage Capital, AmeriPro Processing and 1st Metropolitan Mortgage.

Jarvis earned a Master’s in Business Administration with a marketing concentration from University of Phoenix. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from University of Evansville in Evansville, Ind.
