Prior to selecting PEER 1 Hosting’s dedicated servers, Sociocast was hosting its infrastructure with a pure cloud provider. While this eased the company’s initial launch by eliminating the need for dedicated infrastructure purchases, Sociocast soon experienced significant performance degradation. To abate these performance challenges, Sociocast sought out PEER 1 Hosting for a more flexible hosting approach. After examining PEER 1 Hosting’s public cloud, private cloud, dedicated servers and managed hosting offerings, Sociocast transitioned to the company’s bare metal servers.
