Clayton has been installed as President of the Fort Lauderdale Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) for 2013. Clayton was installed before a large crowd of local attorneys and members of the judiciary attending ABOTA’s annual Judges’ Night at B Ocean Hotel.

A litigator based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office since 2004, Clayton maintains a national civil trial practice having tried more than 100 cases in state and federal courts. Clayton is board certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In both Florida and Nevada, he is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney. Clayton is a fellow in the Litigation Counsel of America and a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
