Ferraris, Bentleys, Porsches and Corvettes Race to Raise Money for Research and Awareness of Type 1 Diabetes

L.A. Car Connection to host its annual charity race event at Willow Springs Race Track

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Some of the hottest and fastest sports cars on the streets of Los Angeles will race at Willow Springs International Raceway on February 5, 2013, when LA Car Connection (LACC) holds their 2^nd Annual Charity Race Track Day. All proceeds will go directly to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Ryan’s Missions, two organizations dedicated to raising awareness and advancing research for Type 1 Diabetes.

This event is designed to provide a safe and exciting environment for car enthusiasts and long-time clientele of LACC to race their specialty vehicles while raising money for a very important cause. “We are so excited to be able to provide a race day for our clients and at the same time raise awareness and money for Juvenile Type 1 Diabetes research. JDRF and Ryan’s Mission are doing amazing work and we are thrilled to be able to support them,” says Eric Brooks, President of LACC.

This incredible event will provide music, food and entertainment as well as a silent auction of secret getaways and high-end merchandise and memorabilia donated by some of LACC’s infamous clientele. All of the day’s activities will happen right under the LACC tent on the track and provide additional donations for the charities. “The support from L.A.
