WASHINGTON--()--The Washington Area State Relations Group (WASRG) installed 2013 executive officers at its recent annual meeting. WASRG’s dedication to serving state government relations professionals based in the metropolitan Washington, D.C., area is reflected in the expert backgrounds of the board members.

The organization’s new board members are: Jeff Hartgen, principal at MultiState Associates Inc., as president; Stefani Millie Grant, manager, state government and external affairs at Unilever United States, as vice president; Rebecca South, federal compliance associate at State and Federal Communications, as treasurer; Ember Brillhart, manager of state relations at Honda North America, as secretary; and Laura Dooley, director, state government affairs at Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, as immediate past president.
“It is a privilege to serve as the 2013 president of the Washington Area State Relations Group,” MultiState’s Hartgen said. “This is an organization that provides educational and professional development programs to the state government relations professionals in the Washington, D.C., metro area, and being a part of such an organization is really an honor. All of the officers are looking forward to a great year.”
