BOCA RATON, Fla.--()--Cortera, a provider of comprehensive business-to-business payment and B2B purchase behavior data and insights into U.S. companies, today announced that Cortera Pulse™ was named the winner of the 2013 SIIA CODiE Award for Best Business Information Solution. CODiE winners represent the information industry’s best products, technologies, and services created by or for media, publishers, and information services providers.
“We are especially pleased with the high-caliber of this year’s CODiE Award winners. The products selected as finalists stand as a testament to the dedication finalist companies have not only to meet, but also to exceed their customer and partner expectations”
Cortera Pulse monitors 20 million public and private companies to ensure B2B companies stay on top of any changes to their customers’ businesses which could signal potential revenue risks or opportunities. Pulse captures significant changes in a company’s purchase behavior—what they buy—and payment behavior—how they pay and combines this data with news, growth clues, bankruptcy filings, tax liens, civil judgments, demographic data and more. By continuously monitoring the behavior of a company’s entire customer base, Cortera Pulse provides daily alerts to meaningful changes in their business that may signal potential opportunity and risk so they can take immediate action.
“For decades BtoC companies have been utilizing behavioral data and analytics to predict future purchases, and assess risks. Now, BtoB companies have access to similarly comprehensive business information that enables them to monitor their customers for potential sales risks and opportunities,” said Jim Swift, Cortera president and CEO. “Cortera Pulse earning recognition as a CODiE Award winner among the business information industry’s finest products and services validates Cortera’s progress in creating innovative business information solutions that go beyond the limits of traditional demographic and credit data-based offerings.”
Winners were announced during a special Awards luncheon on January 31 in New York City during the SIIA’s annual flagship conference for information industry leaders, IIS 2013: Breakthrough.
“We are especially pleased with the high-caliber of this year’s CODiE Award winners. The products selected as finalists stand as a testament to the dedication finalist companies have not only to meet, but also to exceed their customer and partner expectations,” noted SIIA Vice President for the Content Division, Kathy Greenler Sexton. “This was an extremely competitive year for the Content CODiE Awards.”
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-reviewed awards program. The first round review of all nominees is conducted by media, publishing, and information services executives with considerable industry expertise, including members of the industry, analysts, media and bloggers, and bankers and investors. The judges are responsible for selecting the CODiE Awards finalists. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.
